Northcliff House, Portpatrick.
This unique Edwardian house was
built in 1904 and is situated on the cliffs overlooking the picturesque
village and harbour of Portpatrick. The lounge and garden have extensive
views across the Irish Sea to Ireland and the Isle of Man to the south.
Northcliff House is within easy walking distance of Portpatrick Golf Club,
and the restaurants and bars on the sea front.
The house retains all its original Edwardian features, particularly the
fine woodwork, panelled doors, cornicing and period fireplaces. There is a
large secluded garden, with breathtaking views, overlooking the harbour.
Northcliff House provides the ultimate base either to relax or explore
this wonderful unspoilt area with all literally on the doorstep.
We offer our guests a choice of three tastefully furnished bedrooms, all
with private bathroom, TV and tea-making facilities. In the morning enjoy
a good start to the day with the Full Scottish Breakfast - a feast to set
you up for the day! We are only six miles from the ferries to Northern
Ireland at Loch Ryan, and around one-and-a-half hours drive along the
coastal road to Prestwick Airport. Tarrif: £25 per person per night.
Sorry, we do not accept credit cards. |
